The 32nd Kyoto Prefecture High School Drama Contest

On November the 3rd, I watched a drama produced by the drama club of the high school I graduated in the 32nd Kyoto Prefecture High School Drama Contest. My juniors have selected serious themes cleverly embedded in their daily lives as the high school students in their original script. Unconventional works out of “formal lives”, which the students seek to get out of, are really interesting matters that are exclusively due to youthful days.

They were awarded grand prize in the contest, and will participate in Kinki District High School Drama Contest held at Yawata cultural hall in November the 22nd to 24th, 2019.

When I was in the club, we were awarded first prize in our block contest but could not obtain grand prize in the Kyoto Prefecture High School Drama Contest. Instead of the Kinki District High School Drama Contest, we participated in the drama section of Kinki District High School Cultural Festival (nowadays the contest and the section of cultural festival are united, but 23 years ago they were separated). The photo below was taken at that opportunity.

Congratulation for the grand prize!
