The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power 1-1, 1-2

I have watched the first two episodes of the drama series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on the amazon prime video service. It is developed from J.R.R. Tolkien’s novel series “The Silmarillion”, “Unfinished Tales” and “The History of Middle-earth”. To attract the people familiar with the movies “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”, the producers set Galadriel and Elrond as the main characters. It is the story about Second Age, proceeding Third Age that includes “The Lord of the Rings” stories. Since the strength of both people and evils were greater than the later years, there would be serious conflicts among them. The styles of cultures of humans were classic because it was 3000 years before the ages of “The Lord of the Rings”. In contrast, immortal elves had constant style of cultures. The diversity of people, such as elves, dwarves, harfoots and humans mimic that of human cultures in the real world. There are also metaphysical diversities within each race from the origins of actors/actresses. Nóri (this name is originally from the Norse myth) from the harfoots, had a unique character as a spirit of adventures, which is not common in the harfoots and is common to Bilbo and Frodo of “The Lord of the Rings”. Galadriel was stubborn and hot-blooded, but already had her own majesty. Elrond was still young, and he would encounter the rise of evils. I would like to see future episodes, because quite a lot of efforts to implement the realities in the fantasy world were observed in these productions, respecting the whole world Tolkien had created.
