PSYCHO-PASS 3 FIRST INSPECTOR

On March the 27th 2020, I watched an animation movie “PSYCHO-PASS 3 FIRST INSEPCTOR”. It is an action movie going through all the 135 minutes, with a scent of psychological welfare. This time, many-sided plots of the story was ongoing, and adherence to a certain aspect was avoided. The ignorant crowds are once rejected by Sibyl System, and Bifrost meets its proper ending as a casting board. Self-process ruining is also once avoided by the main characters, however, a pilot fire is still smoldering. A huge clump of interconnected libraries of criminals or potential criminals, and acquittal constitutions (either innate or acquired) are the keys for the next plot (or, related to the incident two years ago). One of the main purposes of Sibyl System may be the acquisitions of acquittal constitutions to human beings. The origin and evolving design of Sibyl System (i.e. what is a current aim and finally, what it really means to establish), and entrustment of final judgement to normal human beings, are still mysteries and I hope it would be finally resolved in future. Tow Ubukata and Makoto Fukami firmly settled down the story to a certain level this time.

 

However, since the name “Kogami(狡噛)” very frequently appeared in the movie, I was by nature recall the name “Kokami(鴻上)” of a famous Japanese playwriter. Too much outspoken, and then the words not to be mentioned would be elucidated, is one of the proverbs of him. He is also inspired by the play “Waiting for Godot”. “Snufkin’s Letter(スナフキンの手紙)”, a Kishida Prize for Drama received playwright of Shoji Kokami, very much reflects the sociology of 26 years ago. The best play I have ever watched, acted by university students is based on this playwright, with an interesting scene of silk road. It could be sublimated nowadays in the means of SNS, self-promotion, all the fussing oppressing steady ways of lives, and a huge bunch of misbeliefs influencing the society. The contrasts between “Kogami(狡噛)” and “Kokami(鴻上)” are the former being serious, while the latter being comical tones backboned by serious theme. The gap between them is so interesting, if you once be familiar with PSYCHO-PASS and the playwrights by “Kokami(鴻上)”.
