George Dandin

I watched “George Dandin” from “COLLECTION MOLIÈRE par LA COMÉDIE-FRANÇAISE DVD-BOX {Rouge}”. It is a story of a poor farmer who is betrayed by his wife from an aristocrat family. In these days, a marriage without consents of people in question is avoided by flexible systems for marital relationships, especially in France. On the other hand, biasing of recognition among commoners and aristocrats forced misjudgements that everything mal was attributed to commoners. This asymmetry still exists nowadays as sorts of harassments. “George Dandin” is a story for such people. A conversation between Alain Lenglet and Alexandre Pavloff was a service for me.
