The evaluation of the animation series “pet” is triple-polarized and I’m quite not sure why some evaluators made contradictory comments to the actual story presented, or simply disregard it before the matter the evaluator raised up was eventually solved afterwards. Some people said they have read through the original comics, however, they still state comments that are contradictory to the original story described in the comics.

By the way, the visual and aural expressions of the Koran are characteristic to Islamic thoughts, and this is why the transcribed texts from the Koran are no longer holy; they require their vocality to be regarded as sacred. Basically, it is not a particular language but visual images and music, that would mediate communications among people and intelligent life, which does not have to be in a form of material basis. This is because images and music have common physical properties among us, while languages depend on our ethnicity. As Islam preserves its original way of thoughts unlike Christianity or Buddhism, it provides some of the main clues for grasping the monotheism, concomitant with accompanied Sufism. In contrast, Chinese thoughts evacuated from an idea of personal god and instead of mysticism of monotheism, they developed a mysticism based on mathematics. Both Islam and Chinese thoughts express how people regard interactions among their surroundings from a certain aspect.

In this regard, an idea of “Image” in a comic series “pet” is in good fit with visual expressions, and the crossover with Chinese people very much mimics the relationships among Islam and Chinese, which is not sure to be expected intentionally. This anthropological aspect of “pet” is extremely expanded in the author Ranjo Miyake’s long piece of comic, “Imry”. She implies much of SF anthropology in this manuscript.
