On January the 13th 2020, I watched an animation series “pet”, through #3 to #6. Foreshadows for Katsuragi’s story are frequently casted. Katsuragi’s story challenges an identity of a particular character, i.e. how people recognize the identity of a particular person. Of course, Hiroki, Tsukasa, Satoru and Hayashi’s stories are the main topics. However, the undermined story for Katsuragi is one of the prominent characteristics of this series, and people should not miss the case. By the way, although the tone of this story is serious, some comical expressions for the audience, e.g. “桂木さん, あなたなら絶対に釣りをケチると思っていたんですよ. (Mr. Katsuragi, I was sure that you would be stingy with paying a tip.) ”, appear during the progress of the story, even in the serious case that supposed to frighten one’s life. I was entertained by the story.
